Those needing assistance will be met with compassion and respect as we help them navigate a difficult time.</p>

<p><strong>There are 7,200 residents of German  Township.  </strong>I want to knock on all the doors to hear what residents need.  Are you interested in joining me?  If you are better with phone calls or hosting a fundraiser, I need your help, too.  </p>

<h2>German Township Trustee</h2><p>Fuel prices are rising, groceries remain high, and healthcare costs are leaving people bankrupt.  People are hurting, and they may not know where to go for help.  As a social worker, I know the resources in the community.  </p><p>If elected, I will create a website similar to this that provides important information on resources in the Evansville community for you to access anytime from home.</p><p>Additionally, the website will explain how you can receive assistance from the Trustee's Office, contain budget reports, and include a township message board so you can communicate with your neighbors about lost pets or upcoming community events.</p>

<p>I was born in a rural county in central Indiana, the youngest of five children.  I grew up on a farm, where I learned the value of hard work and being a good neighbor.  Serving as your trustee would give me the opportunity to demonstrate both.</p>

<h2>Bio</h2><p>I graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School in Rush County, Indiana, and then earned a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Degree from Valparaiso University. I then earned both my Masters of Social Work (MSW) and a PhD in Social Work from the Ohio State University. I worked as an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Spalding University in Louisville, KY before moving to Evansville in 2003 to teach at the University of Southern Indiana.</p><p>I have an adult daughter, Lily, and a dog, Bernie. When I'm not serving my local community, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, creating art, gardening and traveling the world.</p>
